LONDON GARAGE ORCHESTRA

London’s finest contemporary orchestra performing classic UK Garage hits live.

The 13 piece ensemble featuring brass and strings sections have taken the festival scene by storm this summer after a successful debut show at London Remixed Festival 2019. Their two stellar vocalists are joined on stage by UK Garage legend MC Kie and fierce female MC Enamie for an explosive rendition of the most iconic tracks from the Garage era. With set lists including Artful Dodger, Craig David, and Bell Biv Devoe, the London Garage Orchestra brings a true UKG experience to each show. Guaranteed to get the audience jumping from start to finish!

With shows at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Lovebox and Eastern Electrics festivals already under their belt and more to follow we except big things for them in 2020 and beyond!

DENNIS G - SAMBUCA

He is widely known for singing the UK Garage anthem "Sambuca" which was first released by The Wideboys in 2001.

KELE LE ROC - MY LOVE

Her first album was released in 1999 from which Ms Le Roc had 2 top ten singles and received an accolade of awards including 2 mobo's for best single “my love” and best newcomer. 

SWEET FEMALE ATTITUDE - FLOWERS

"Flowers" is the debut single by British UK garage duo Sweet Female Attitude, released in April 2000. The song peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. It went on to be the UK's 37th biggest-selling single of 2000.

ROBBIE CRAIG - WOMAN TROUBLE

A unique lyrical phrasing and ability to song-write coupled with the technical perfection of his vocals has enabled Robbie Craig to break into the mainstream with the hit single ‘Woman Trouble’ in collaboration with the Artful Dodger. 

The huge European success hit ‘Woman Trouble’ gained Robbie recognition from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters as the Ivor Novello Award winner for Best Song, which was a true reflection of his song writing talent and his contribution as a creative source within the music industry.

Biography

Shola Ama is one of Britain's most successful R&B artists, her debut album Much Love sold over 1 million copies scoring Shola 2 top five singles with 'You Might Need Somebody' and 'You're The One I Love'. The success of "Much Love" culminated in 2 MOBO award wins and 2 Brit Awards- the crowning achievement for an incredible journey.

Shola has been consistently writing and recording new material and is now ready to take a step back into the spotlight as well as into the charts.

ROMEO - SO SOLID CREW - 21 SECONDS

Romeo first found fame in the garage group So Solid Crew, So Solid Crew are an English garagegrime and hip hop group originating from BatterseaLondon which achieved wide success in the early 2000s.

Romeo released his solo album Solid Love in November 2002, through Relentless records.

He enjoyed two top 10 singles, "Romeo Dunn'em" which reached No. 3 in the UK Singles Chart in 2002, and secondly a duet with Christina Milian, "It's All Gravy Baby", which reached No. 9 in the UK Singles Chart in the same year. All Gravy Baby", which reached No. 9 in the UK Singles Chart in the same year.

LISA MAFFIA - SO SOLID CREW - 21 SECONDS | BAD GIRL

Lisa first found fame in the garage group So Solid Crew, So Solid Crew are an English garagegrime and hip hop group originating from BatterseaLondon which achieved wide success in the early 2000s.

Whilst in So Solid, the singer notched up five top 20 hits, including a platinum-selling single "21 Seconds" and a platinum selling album They Don't Know. As a solo artist, she has released two top 10 singles and an award winning album including the platinum selling single "All Over". 

On 10 September, Maffia released her single "Bad Girl"; whilst the single reached 36 and number 4 in the overall dance charts, the single had success over Europe leading to Maffia doing a European tour.

PLATNUM - WHATS IT GONNA BE | LOVE SHY

Platnum are a British bassline vocal group from ManchesterEngland, consisting of male vocalist Aaron Evers and female vocalists Mina Poli and Michelle McKenna. The trio are best known for providing the vocals on 

H "Two" O's 2008 single, "What's It Gonna Be?", which reached number two in the UK Singles Chart in February 2008. Platnum, who formed around 2004, have worked with DJs Jamie Duggan and Q as well as producers Virgo,

H "Two" O and Nastee Boi.

The groups highly anticipated second single, "Love Shy (Thinking About You)" was released on 29 September 2008 and they have also started work on their debut album which became a mixtape. They were touring, supporting

N-Dubz, in the UK in Autumn 2009.

UK Garage Act Monsta Boy Producer Of The Classic "Sorry" which was released in 2000.

THE MASTERS OF CEREMONIES - DO YOU REALLY LIKE IT

The Masters of Ceremonies collaborated with DJ Pied Piper and MCs MC DT (responsible for the line "we're loving it, loving it, loving it"), Melody, Sharky P and the Unknown MC.

The single went to number one on the UK Singles Chart in June 2001 and has sold 475,000 copies in the United Kingdom as stated by the Official Charts Company.

OGGIE - FOLLOW ME

Oggie is the voice behind the classic Garage anthem ‘Follow Me’, released by Aim Records, who in 2004 made it into a UK anthem. His self written and produced follow up single ‘YOU’ became an underground smash hit and the Agent X remix made it’s way on to 2008’s “Ministry of Sound Garage Classics 2”.

LONYO - SUMMER OF LOVE

Lonyo had a hit in 2000 with the single "Summer of Love", which reached number eight in the UK singles chart.

So Solid Crew are an English garagegrime and hip hop group originating from BatterseaLondon which achieved wide success in the early 2000s.

NAY NAY - BODY GROOVE

She collaborated with West London production duo The Architechs. With pre-sales of 90,000, they created the triple-platinum selling record “Body Groove” which reached No. 3 in the UK Charts. It stayed in the Top Ten for 10 consecutive weeks and sold over 1 million copies. The single earned a Brit and MOBO nomination with the likes of Samuel L. Jackson declaring it his favourite song of the year!

GRACIOUS K - MIGRAINE SKANK

Gracious K, the man who brought you the club anthem "Migraine Skank". Known for his energetic and club style of music, he took the UK scene by storm with his 2009 anthem. Since then he has been working hard perfecting his sound and touring the country and abroad. Keep up to date with him and everything that he is doing.

3 OF A KIND - BABYCAKES

3 of a Kind were a UK 2-step garage act, best known for their 2004 number one hit single, "Baby Cakes". "Baby Cakes" went straight to number 1 on the UK Singles Chart and to number 3 on the Irish Singles Chart. It also just crept onto the Eurochart Hot 100 charting at number 91.

The song also charted in BelgiumFranceNetherlands and Sweden. 3 of a Kind never released a follow-up to "Baby Cakes", making them one-hit wonders in the UK.

HYPERACTIVE - SEXY CINDERELLA

He is best known for featuring on DJ Dee kline's hit "Sexy Cinderella" which was released in 2001.
